About Me and My School
I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Home Economics Education and taught in both junior and senior high schools. After starting my family, I taught both adults and children through the local community education program. I wanted to combine my love for sewing, teaching and children, so 19 years ago I began my own home business.
As a licensed Kids Can Sew Instructor, I offer classes that are fun and patterns that start out simple. Students learn how to:
- Choose appropriate fabric, colors, patterns, notions, etc.
- Press, pin mark, cut and assemble a pattern
- Stitch, buttonhole, hem, etc. on the newest machines
- Complete and wear THEIR OWN CLOTHES.
Please contact me if you have any questions. Also, visit the testimonials page to see what my students have to say about the classes they have attended."
